With the Markman hearing not producing immediate settlement action, and while we wait for the judges ruling on the claims construction from that hearing, it does make sense to not have a meeting just to discuss the fact that we continue to await that outcome.
The only obvious positive that came from yesterday's PR, for me, was that management has chosen to open the communication lines to its shareholders in the form of a conference call, in the face of settlement delays. That is a key component and responsibility of management, imo, and maybe, just maybe they will announce the new patents/technologies and perhaps launch the EDIG Group website. You don't need a shareholders meeting to get proactive.
"With a goal of reducing costs and aligning to a traditional schedule the Company is now planning an annual meeting in the Summer following the release of its 2011 annual report for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2011. To bridge to the new meeting schedule the Company will hold a shareholder conference call for early March to update on fiscal 2011 activity and plans for fiscal 2012.
