If you are waiting on insiders to purchase options, imo you will be way too late. The purposes of the options, are

1. hello, they work there and we don't. Their work is their purchase price. So they have the interest ---the legal right to buy at that price in the future-- they don't need to exercise now...they probably have years to exercise them,...but the awards make sense, because..

2. their options are worthless down the line if they DON'T perform.

IMO --we should all be thrilled that they have them!!!
