On site at present, Timmins Gold's mining and crushing operations are continuing with the available Komatsu shovel and six Caterpillar 100 ton trucks until the full mining fleet arrives. Over 100,000 metric tonnes of ore have been stacked on the heap leach pads and gold leaching has begun.

08:03 AM EDT, 10/13/2016 (MT Newswires) -- Timmins Gold (TMM.TO) reported increased gold production for Q3, making it on track to achieve its output target for the year.

During the quarter, the company produced 24,052 ounces of gold and 13,868 ounces of silver, compared to last year's production of 23,387 ounces of gold and 10,539 ounces of silver.

For 2016, the company expects production of 90,000 - 100,000 ounces of gold. It didn't provide a guidance for silver.

The stock climbed 7% on Wednesday, moving at the top half of 52-week range $0.10 - $0.80.
