Wow.......those are incredible grades the locals have been recovering over the last 10 months. This truly is a high grade property
The local artisan miners have recovered 350kg of gold from (at the most)1000 tonnes of rock over the last 10 months.....that means they are averaging least 350 g/t Au .....all dug up by hand or with hand tools and all near surface less than 15 Meters deep
So at that rate the locals are producing about 14800 oz per year on the MEG property...... by hand
It is important to remember that SD will getting 50% of all profits for the next year at MEG and this is not chump change by means......14800oz Au x $1200 oz = $17,760,000 - 50% = $8.8 Million
I realize that SD only gets 50% of the profits but seriously how much can it cost to dig up this gold by hand......not much I would think....but even if somehow in the worst case scenario it cost say 600 oz (lol) SD would still be walking away with $4.4 Million over the next year and somehow SD's Market Cap is still less than $15 million F/D.............so much upside here.
