Could see some interesting action tomorrow and days to come as effective post budget which is 12.01 am tonite you can add an extra 4.5k to your tsfa even if you contributed the max of 5.5k already this year...its a total of 9k for both spouses....so i can envisage someone (me)taking a tax hit now on capital gains assuming you are in the money and then rebuying or transfering to your tfsa...great news for investors, If you believe this stock is set up for a move up its a great way to maximize profit and minimize future greater taxes via your tsfa...thank you Joe Oliver.
