Joel got royally roasted the last time he took on Poet and members of this forum and backed himself into a corner. His initial stance has gone from "No way, impossible" to "Not worth my time" to "You guys are a bunch of pumpers" to "Not yet proven" and now "Not unless customers or fab". He will move on to another negative position when Poet's customers and fabs are announced.
It was suggested at one point during the onslaught that he was so anti-Poet that he may be in the pocket of one/some of the big tech companies, but that was not verified. All the rhetoric and pontificating aside, you have to reasonably ask why it is that a supposed "reporter" of the technology world would not have at least afforded Poet's technology a fair shake.
Now, arrogance, pride and machismo and all those other negative self-isms prevent him from being a real reporter and reporting an unbiased view of Poet.
I predict that when Poet comes to fruition, he will provide reluctant acknowledgment covered in negative provisos and will continue to bash the company for some arcane reason or other.
