Cliffs plan is to build a concentrator at the mine site and only ship the concentrate to Sudbury. Chromite is very dense and the ore is very heavy. Clearly it would not make sense to ship the ore to Sudbury.

Moe Levegne's plan to build power generating plants on the northern rivers is an interesting concept but it adds another delay in getting the project started.

When I attended the Christina Kaszyki presentation in Sudbury she said the plan is to bring the power in from the west to service the FN and the mining sites.

I hear that Cliffs has already bought the land in Capreol for the smelter.

Sounds to me like the plans are already in place to build a road and transport the concentrate to Sudbury for smelting.
