Numa could be Noront's Universal Mining Application or it could also mean that they will be drilling out the ore with 48" drill bits from surface. I have worked with drill bits that are 12 feet across for ventilation shafts at the gypsum mine by Port Dover and they go at least 200 ft down. The 48" hammer drill at numahammers could be used to a much greater depth. SNC lavalin may be coming up with a very inovative plan with the orintation of the resource. The underground mine plan in the chromite 43-101 may be use this aprox 100m across shaft to haul up ore from Triple J. Interesting possibilities. Definatly more research is needed.
