Thanks, geoprof , for clarifying the head grade issue:

"head" grades are the grades of the ore shipped to the mill for processing from the mine. Geo's estimate those grades from UG/surface sampling and DDH info.

With your explanation I can even less interpret Mucker´s statement regarding my in-situ comparisons of Eagle 1 to other deposits:

Mucker: "Excuse my practical background, but the figures your quoting for grade and size of the ore bodies are insitu averages not mill heads."

What would be the difference between in-situ grades and head grades then ?

And if there is no difference, what is Mucker´s comment about then ?
