It would be hard to add to Sperri's eloquent response to your post, which I may add is right on target, but add I must.
The market in which MTEK trades currently incredibly does not have a bid and ask and invariably constitutes a scenario where trades are conducted manually through brokers, which is exorbitantly expensive. In other words, the price is dictated by outside sources and not be supply/demand or bid/ask action. The next trade we all witness could conceivably be a dollar.
The trading situation in MTEK is gloomy at the moment, that I will agree, but that makes this highly speculative play all the more intriguing is when we overcome these tribulations and step out into the sunshine again and collect our pot o gold... IMO
I am not an expert on this market, and if I am off base please chime in.
