MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA - Robert Friedland, Chairman, and Peter Reeve, Chief Executive Officer of Ivanhoe Australia Limited (IVA:ASX & TSX), are pleased to announce the completion of the Mount Dore resource definition program, which has intersected some significant high-grade results on the company's Cloncurry tenements in northwestern Queensland.
Ivanhoe Australia now has completed a 54-hole resource definition program as part of the Mount Dore pre-feasibility study. Assay results for 42 of these holes have been received, including high-grade copper intercepts from the following eight holes:
MDQ0418 - 6.6 m @ 5.35% copper and 0.28 g/t gold from 197.2 metres.
MDQ0421 - 6.8 m @ 2.82% copper and 1.73 g/t gold from 102.2 metres;
including - 3 m @ 5.77% copper and 3.86 g/t gold from 104 metres.
MDQ0420 - 11.26 m @ 1.08% copper and 0.01 g/t gold from 203.98 metres;
including - 2.2 m @ 3.23% copper and 0.01 g/t gold from 207.8 metres.
MDQ0422 - 54.35 m @ 1.16% copper and 0.11 g/t gold from 86 metres.
MDQ0426 - 42 m @ 0.98% copper and 0.11 g/t gold from 150 metres.
MDQ0427 - 5.15 m @ 2.01% copper and 0.20 g/t gold from 250.85 metres.
