On AMEX - News of the arbitration being registered by ICSID not effecting sp all that greatly. Volume doing well at over 450k for so early in the trading day. About even at this time. May take a few days for the news to get out.
S&P and Dow... Speaking of getting out... These are going down, down, down. Not so sure all of this selling can be explained by today's weak jobs report and trade deficit. Pretty much everything is being sold off. I do not watch every stock, but my watch list is red except for MCD and NLY. S&P and Dow are tapping on the 50 Day MA, as is the Russell 2k. This, only a few days after the anniversary of the Market low a bit back. Is it time for a pull-back or double dip that seems a lot of talking heads have been spouting? Could be. Last time the selling was all across the board, and was brutal. Be careful and be aware. Getting out at even, or only a little loss, is better then hanging in there to another Market bottom. Diversification may not help the pain. Alternatively, might see a big up day tomorrow, as has happened on many occasion.
Gold also feeling the squeeze. Selling off starting at about an hour before closing of Hong Kong and just at London open. GLD technicals were looking very good, with a positive cross of the 14 Day MA above the 50. However, OBV has been showing lack of enthusiasm for the golden stuff. Might be in for a continued rough ride.
