On AMEX - KRY sp hanging in there, all things considered. From my earlier post after yesterday's close, no one seems to know when drop-dead date for filing arbitration is. Some pre-Market trading on a Friday and opens flat. Might be something to the four digit sp at this level of trading. Let's take a look at the technicals, as it has been a few days since the news. SP is, well, you know where it is. OBV took a dive Monday, then popped until Wed, and since then has been trending down, Stoch and MAC are Bearish, Volume trending down and coming around to normal (calling 650k norm). On the 60min techs, the OBV has formed a tight range, 14hrMA is 0.1465 and 50hrMA is 0.1861 and are converging, so we wait until gap closes. It has been nearly a week of trading since the news, so the sp is what it is. Still Looking for a follow-up PR. But, likely not about some back-room deal so soon, or might look like sp manipulation. Be extremely cautious when considering a new or additional position. Trust - But, Verify.
S&P and Dow are down at open. Egypt has slowed the Bull run, and Market awaiting Mubarak to step aside. A profit taking Friday seems to be shaping up. Maybe it precedes a Mutual Fund Monday, maybe not. Anyway, some Tech Bullish (smartphone makers, except NOK), Mining mixed, Retail had a run earlier this week but now showing profit taking, Financials mixed, Oil services still waking up, but may not. Be diversified and perform DD on any stock play as the Market can be a dangerous playground.
Gold trended down by HK, but London gave support. NYMEX open saw a pop, but now back in line. GLD techs show, 50MA hitting upper BB while 14MA seems to have bottomed. However, since Jan28, OBV has been in downtrend indicating distribution - while sp in uptrend... Use caution at this time if considering a new or additional gold position.
