As I slowly sift through the facts with my minus 10 attention span and dsylexia I am having difficulty understanding how Copper Fox management didn't know months ago that the BFS would be late and just discovered this recently. I have been a project engineer for 38 years and work extensively with consultants.

Typically there is daily contact on issues, weekly status reports, and monthly status reports, video or phone conferences, emails, phone calls. This includes critical path schedule updates, and budget updates.

Management knows whats going on every step of the way. If you have 40 consultants at a burn rate of $160 per hour each you would have to know whats happening.

If management is saying this is a recent surprise , I do not come to any good conclusions.
