Barkerville Gold Mines Ltd

The Company sampled three trenches, which totaled 55 meters long, to provide metallurgical and ore zone data for oxidized mineralization at bedrock. The trenches ranged from 5.5 to 11.3 metres wide at the toe and were from 4.6 to 6.1 metres deep.

If you're familiar with my work you know this will be interesting.

I will have to read up on your posts and might go visit the mine before I publish.

Fraser sent me some highlights.

Webgogs - Thanks for taking the time to let me update you. This is for your reference regarding some of the upcoming catalysts for Barkerville Gold Mines Ltd. that I mentioned.

January - Completion of announced financing of $20,000,000. Closed Jan 23, 2012 and oversubscribed by $4,351,424
January - Preparation of QR mine and mill to handle Bonanza Ledge ore (our 2nd mine, permit to mine granted Dec 06, 2011,)
January onwards – Assays from 62 diamond drill holes pending
First Quarter - New 43-101 resource updates. The first since 2006 and a lot of new holes to include (see assay sample below).
Spring – Start mining/milling Bonanza Ledge ore.
Spring/Summer – exploration and development at QR North Zone, our 1st mine.
This year – have a completed feasibility study for the Gold Quartz Mine (Cow Mountain), our 3rd proposed mine.

These are just some of the catalysts in the first part of the year. Once again I think 2012 will be very productive and prosperous for Barkerville Gold and our shareholders, especially given current market valuation for BGM.
